Monthly Style Summary to end June 2011

Despite the strong advance during the last week of the month, equities were weak to marginal during June as markets digested a regular diet of dispiriting economic statistics (not only in North America and Europe but also in China and the Far East), and the implications of sovereign debt default echoed through the global banking sector.  Against this unsettled background, Growth stocks and low Beta stocks outperformed.
